This policy covers the Bern Games website, its browser games, and Hero King marketing pages. Native apps have their own in-game privacy notices.
What we collect
BernGames browser games count visits, play sessions, attempted boards and verified clears. An anonymous first-party cookie recognizes a browser for up to six months; it is not connected to your email. These statistics do not follow you across other websites. We do not use advertising pixels. Aggregate counts are public; individual gameplay records are not.
Browser game saves
Boom Brigade saves your current board, completed boards, best move counts, and sound preference in your browser's local storage. The game does not upload your save. On berngames.com it sends accepted puzzle actions to verify clear statistics; these actions contain no free-form text or email address. Anonymous browser identity is approximate: other devices or cleared cookies count separately. Clearing browser data removes them. Saves on other game-hosting sites are separate.
Release updates
If you opt in, we store your email address, selected game interests and consent date privately in our Cloudflare database. We use them to tell you about new BernGames releases. Signup is optional. You can unsubscribe using the link shown after signup and included in release emails, or contact us to remove your information. We do not sell this list.
How we use information
Email messages are used to respond to your request, provide support, or coordinate testing opportunities. We do not sell or share personal information for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Standard server logs may record basic request metadata for security and performance.
